INTERNATIONAL NETWORK HEALTH POLICY AND REFORM

The International network health policy & reform, is a 20-country-project initiated and sponsored
by the Bertelsmann Stiftung since 2002, associated with the European Observatory on Health
Systems and Policies.

Every six months, the experts report and comment on five or more health policy trends and developments
from their countries.

In October 2011 the Bertelsmann Foundation and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies laid the foundation for a new joint venture, the Health Systems and Policy Monitor. The Health Systems and Policy Monitor results from the successful merger of the International Network Health Policy& Reform and the National Lead Institutions Network. Integrating both groups, their activities in health policy analysis and comparative health system research will be strengthened further, maximizing synergies and benefits for contributors and users alike. We invite you to visit the European Observatory's website frequently to check out thorough analyses of context, background, politics of policy, and key actors in health policy processes.
